Function reference

Every function, grouped the way the app’s “Formulas” panel groups them: text, time, relation, calculation, plus AI and web functions. The wording matches the in-app function help.

1. Text functionsCase, trimming, slicing, joining, find and replace, encoding conversion — every function for tidying a text column.
2. Date and time functionsConverting and formatting dates, pulling out year, month, week and day, differences and offsets, timestamps, and self-growing date sequences.
3. Relation functionsCross-table lookups with xlookup, pulling a field out of JSON with json.select, taking the nth value out of an array-shaped string with valueat, and JSONPath syntax.
4. Calculation functionsArithmetic, rounding, modulo, powers, absolute values, standard deviation, and the conditional aggregates sumif / countif / maxif / minif / average / median / quartiles / distinctcountif.
5. AI and web functionsai.generate, web.crawl, google.search, perplexity.search, twitter.search, reddit.search, wiki.search, file.extract and http.request — calling a model or the network once per row, from a formula. A paid capability, billed by your own provider.
