Free spreadsheet tools
37 small tools for the jobs that interrupt real work: turning a PDF bank statement into a table, comparing two versions of a file, opening a CSV that Excel will not, merging a folder of exports. All of them run in your browser — the file is read by JavaScript in the tab and is never uploaded — and none of them ask for an email address.
Documents and financial data
Three pages on getting numbers out of documents and into a report. The PDF invoice reader and the monthly report generator run in your browser like the tools above; the statement page is a guide to which route to take first. None of them reads a scanned page — that takes OCR, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Why these run in the browser and not on a server
The spreadsheets people most need a quick tool for are the ones they are least free to upload: a payroll file, a client's trial balance, an export with customer names and phone numbers in it. Most free tools in this category process the file server-side, which turns a two-minute task into a disclosure.
These pages read the file with JavaScript in your tab. The .xlsx unzipping uses the browser's own
DecompressionStream; the parsing, diffing and writing all happen on your machine. There is
no upload endpoint to trust, because there is no upload. Open your browser's network tab: no request carrying your data appears.
What they need
A modern browser with JavaScript on. Reading .xlsx needs Chrome 103+, Safari 16.4+ or Firefox 113+; CSV works everywhere. Files are held in memory while they are processed, so the practical size limit is your machine's RAM rather than a row cap we impose.
And when the same file comes back every month
These tools are for the one-off: drop the files, take the result, close the tab. When the same export arrives every period and has to be checked and handed over the same way, the steps belong somewhere that remembers them.
TableDI 2 is a desktop app for file work you redo every period: it keeps your sources, rules and delivery as a job, so next month you drop in the new files and run it again. Everything runs on your own machine.

Doing this every month?
In TableDI 2 you do it once, then save it as a job. Next month you drop in the new files and run it again.
macOS, Apple silicon and Intel; Windows is in progress (what to do meanwhile). Free is not a trial — no account, no card.
