After it downloads

  1. Install it

On macOS, open the .dmg and drag TableDI to Applications. On Windows, run the installer.

  2. Open it — that's the whole setup

No sign-up, no license key, no configuration. The first launch takes a few seconds longer while the local engine initializes.

  3. Bring your data in

Import an Excel or CSV file, or connect to an API or database. Import is unlimited on the free version — there's no row cap on getting data in.

  4. Add an AI key if you want formula help

Settings → AI, paste your own provider key — any OpenAI-compatible endpoint works. Optional: everything else works without it, the key never leaves your machine, and you pay your AI provider directly for what you use. How the AI works without a cloud account →
