Layout and inline editing
Drag, resize, duplicate and remove components; the hover menu's Change View, Edit Inline and Edit in Advanced Editor; and Fullscreen View and Download PNG under the component's ⋮.
Arranging
In edit mode each component can be dragged into place and resized by its bottom-right corner. The canvas is a grid, so components snap into alignment. Two columns, one big and two small, a full-width detail table at the bottom — all of it is dragging.
Hovering over a component
Put the pointer on a component and a row of icons appears:

| Remove View | Take it off the dashboard; the view itself stays on the table |
The ⋮ in a component's corner
- Download PNG — export this one component as a PNG for a chat, a slide or a weekly report.
- Fullscreen View — blow one component up.
- Edit in Advanced Editor, Duplicate (Ctrl+D), Remove View and Delete View — as above. Delete View removes the view as well; Remove View only takes it off this dashboard.
- Add Action, and the four actions under it: Navigate, Insert Row (Click to add a row to the table.), Add Parameters (Pass parameters during dashboard navigation, such as data filters.) and Display fields of submitted row. See Interaction and actions.
The inline editing panel
Three tabs:
- Data — title, columns, Data Limit, Rows per Page, Sort Order, Basic Filter.
- Style — font size, rotation, pagination, headers, Legend, axis ticks, Data Label, colour rules, Y-Axis Configuration and so on, depending on the component type.
- Actions — what this component can trigger.
A few layout habits
- Heading and filter controls on the top row; KPI numbers (text elements, metrics) on the second; charts in the middle; the detail table full-width at the bottom.
- Keep charts on the same row the same height, or the eye jumps.
- Set Rows per Page on a detail table so a 5,000-row table doesn't stretch the dashboard forever.
- For a wall display, check it in Preview — that is exactly what a viewer sees.
