Taking a dashboard out: PNG and PDF
Any single component downloads as a PNG, free. Whole-dashboard PDF and branded report templates are on the paid feature list. This page says what the current version actually does and how.
Download PNG (free)
In edit mode, a component's ⋮ → Download PNG gives you that component as a PNG. Bar charts, pies, pivot reports and metrics all work. It is the most-used way out: paste it in a chat, a slide or a weekly report.
For the whole dashboard as one picture there is no button yet — take a system screenshot (macOS Cmd+Shift+4, Windows Win+Shift+S) while in Preview.
PDF and branded templates (a paid capability)
The paid feature list includes PDF and branded export — PDF reports and custom branded templates need a paid license — exporting a dashboard or table as a PDF report with your own logo and layout. It appears in the comparison on Free and paid. The current desktop build has no separate "export PDF" button in the interface; treat the changelog as the authority on when it lands. Until then, the PNG download and a system screenshot are the way.
Getting the data itself out
A dashboard only displays. To take the data:
- A table's Export → Excel or CSV; free stops at the first 1,000 rows. See Exporting Excel and CSV.
- The whole thing in one file: Desktop settings → data backup, a
.tdbk, free with no row limit. See Backups.
Letting someone view it online
That needs a reachable server, which is team-edition sharing and publishing — see Preview, share, publish.
