One license activates one machine at a time. On the old Mac, open Settings → License and click Move to another machine, then activate the key on the new one — as often as you like. Two machines at the same time need two licenses. How to move a license.

Instead of a trial after you pay, you get an unlimited one before: the free version never expires, needs no account, and runs a real job on your real files, period after period.
