Terms of service
Last updated 30 August 2026 · Applies to the TableDI desktop application and tabledi.com
These terms are the agreement between you and 上海鑫沃克斯信息科技有限公司, a company registered in Shanghai, China ("we", "us"), covering the TableDI desktop application ("TableDI") and this website. By downloading, installing or using TableDI, you accept them.
1. What a license grants
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use TableDI for your own work, personal or commercial. You own your data; we own the software.
- One license activates one machine at a time. You can release it from inside the app and activate it on another computer whenever you like, as often as you like. Running two machines at the same time needs two licenses.
- Lifetime licenses include future updates of TableDI, with no renewal and no expiry date. If we ever release a materially different product under a different name, that is a different product — but updates to TableDI itself stay included.
- Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) unlock the same features for as long as the subscription is active. When it ends, TableDI keeps working as the free version and your data stays untouched and openable.
2. The free version
The free version is not a trial. It has no time limit and no expiry, and we don't currently plan to introduce one. Its limits are the ones described on the pricing page — principally that exports are capped at the first 1,000 rows per sheet. Encrypted full backups are available on the free version too, so you can always take all of your data with you.
3. What you agree not to do
- Resell, sublicense, rent or publish license keys. Keys found circulating are revoked, including keys that are already activated.
- Share a single key across an organization instead of buying licenses per machine.
- Circumvent, patch, or otherwise defeat the licensing and paywall mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble TableDI, except where that right can't be excluded by the law that applies to you.
- Use TableDI to break the law, or to process data you have no right to process.
If a license is revoked for one of these reasons, the paid features stop; your data remains yours and remains openable in the free version.
4. Your data and your AI provider
TableDI stores your work on your own computer. We have no copy of it, no access to it, and no ability to recover it for you — backups are your responsibility. The app includes an encrypted backup export for exactly this purpose; use it.
The AI features call an AI provider that you choose, with an API key that you supply, directly from your machine. Your relationship with that provider — its terms, its prices, its handling of your prompts — is between you and them. See the privacy policy for the detail.
5. Availability
TableDI is desktop software: once installed, it runs on your machine without needing us. We do not offer or imply a service level agreement. The supporting web services — this site, the download redirector, and the license activation endpoint — are provided as-is and may be unavailable from time to time. An activated license keeps working offline; it does not need to reach us to keep running.
6. Warranty and liability
TableDI is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We don't warrant that it will be error-free or that it will fit a particular purpose of yours.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to TableDI is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract under the law of your country.
7. Payment and refunds
Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page and charged at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never receive your card details. License keys are delivered immediately on payment and all sales are final — the free version never expires, so you can evaluate TableDI on your own files for as long as you like before buying. Payment faults (duplicate charges, a payment that produced no key) are always corrected. Full policy on the refunds page.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Changes are not retroactive — a lifetime license you already bought keeps the grant it was sold under. If a change materially reduces what your existing license gives you, it doesn't apply to that license.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of Shanghai — except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring the matter locally, which it may.
