Handing the result over
Written for TableDI 2.0.0 on macOS · updated 2026-09-15
A delivery is the file that leaves a job at the end of a period. On the job's Delivery tab, Excel report is ticked by default and Save to a folder is on: the file goes to a Deliveries folder inside the job's folder unless you Choose a folder. Click Generate this period's delivery. If exceptions are still to confirm, TableDI 2 asks once — Deliver anyway or Go back and handle them — then writes <job name> · <period>.xlsx, and the period shows as delivered on Jobs.
What's in the Excel report
Five sheets, the lists you hand over first:

A job with no Match step has only Summary, Detail and Exceptions. Amounts are written as numbers, so they add up in Excel. Rows still to confirm aren't in the file.
CSV gives two files, the summary and the detail. PDF summary (lifetime version) is one page of totals, differences and the top 10 not received; it needs the job's Difference step.

Set once for every period: Heading, Column order, Numbers, and whether differences are colored.
Who gets it
- Save to a folder — remembered after the first delivery.
- Email it — opens a message in your own mail app with the file's location written in it; attach the file yourself. TableDI 2 never sends email.
- WeChat file — saves the file and shows it in its folder, ready to drag.
Generating again
The same period writes the same file name into the same folder, so the new file replaces the old one. Every delivery is recorded in the Delivery log, and Deliveries in the sidebar lists what every job has handed over.
